Neymar Opens PSG Goals Account In Guingamp Win

Brazilian soccer star Neymar has finally made his debut for French club Paris Saint Germain, and he was at his best form as helped his side to beat Guingamp 3-0 in a Ligue 1 game.

The Brazilian was handed a start on his first appearance since a world-record 222 million-euro ($261 million) transfer from Barcelona. And it was roles reversed in the 82nd-minute when the Uruguayan forward squared a pass across to Neymar to give the debutant the goal he'd been searching for.

With Di Maria, Julian Draxler, Lucas Moura and Javier Pastore in their squad, PSG already have many options out wide in the final third, but Neymar brings an extra level of attacking verve.

Starting on the left of a front three also featuring Cavani and Angel Di Maria, but given considerable licence to roam, the 25-year-old produced plenty of impressive moments in what will surely go down as a memorable start to his PSG career.

It's amusing to think that for PSG's management to recoup all their €222 millionworth from Neymar, he needs to be scoring a truckload of goals over the next five years he's at PSG.

PSG's opener came early in the second-half, with Jordan Ikoko putting through his own net (in incredible fashion) after Neymar's pass to Edinson Cavani was initially intercepted.
