Governor Fayose and his 2019 presidential campaign team storm PDP national convention

Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, says he is confident that the Peoples Democratic Power (PDP) will take power back from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.

The Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has said that those who are now in Aso Rock under the All Progressives Congress (APC) Government "are people who don't know what they are doing there", and be ready for total defeat at the 2019 elections.

He said Nigerians have "entered one chance" under the current administration and that the PDP will offer "plenty chances".

The Vanguard reports that the Fayose, who is also the chairman of PDP Governors Forum, officially unveiled his presidential ambition at the convention.

Speaking prophetically and confidently, Governor Fayose who had earlier launched his Presidential campaign revealed that he will return to the Federal Capital Territory by 2019.

In the statement, Fayose who spoke at a meeting with political office holders at the Government's House, Ado Ekiti, where he also inspected Osoko Political Institute Centre, had also said that "I have penchant for taking powers; that one in Buhari's hand".

"The crowd here in the convention arena is a testimony of what is happening in Nigeria; the party is now a religion and a belief that we are going back to "our villa". But we can assure you that the APC has entered one term and they have to go", he said. God will be with us. "My own won't be this change that has brought nothing, we are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth". We make mistakes but our ability to correct them if what is important.

"I want to congratulate our great party and to assure Nigerians that we are going to deliver them from all they are passing through".
