White Sox activate Tyler Saladino and Miguel Gonzalez from DL

Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia is hitting from the two hole in Saturday night's home matchup with the Seattle Mariners. The White Sox have only lost the season series once since 2010, going a combined 41-18 against Seattle since then. Edwin Diaz struck out a pair in a shutout 9th inning for his 15th save of the year. Andrew Moore will start game three and is 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA and 10 strikeouts this season.

The Chicago White Sox on the other hand will look to avoid the sweep after their loss on Saturday gave the White Sox their sixth loss in their last seven games. The Mariners improved to 44-47 overall and 17-25 on the road with the win while the White Sox fell to 38-50 overall and 19-19 at home. Paxton has now posted three consecutive quality starts, after a six-start span that never saw him get past 5.1 innings. Mike Pelfrey gave up a pair of runs, one earned, on four hits while striking out a pair over 4.2 innings of work, not factoring in the decision. The Mariners as a team haven't been very consistent this season either, so I like the White Sox to get the upset behind a good start at home from Holland and some timely hitting against Hernandez. In his career, Holland is 13-6 with a 3.57 ERA and 135 strikeouts against Seattle.

I went against Chicago yesterday with the assumption that Holland was pitching and the M's still won.
