Meizu Pro 7 gets teased ahead of official announcement

Today, the Chinese company teased the upcoming reveal of the Meizu Pro 7 on its official Twitter handle, which somewhat confirms we're very close to a formal announcement.

Meizu Pro 7 will come with a secondary display on the back below the dual rear cameras. We need to wait few more days to get all the details of this handset. Now, that's how you grab attention. Like, MX7, Pro 7 also supports 3D Touch.

As per rumours, Meizu Pro 7 will be featuring 5.2 QHD (2560 x 1440) display. We can see the display being used for notifications, and dates and quick glance stuff like that.

The Meizu Pro 7 is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio X30 chipset while the Plus variant was rumored to come with the Exynos 8895 processor. The successor of the Meizu Pro 6 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor and is also expected to feature a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen display.

Per previous reports, the flagship duo will add to the mobile imaging trend and come with a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 12 MP Sony IMX386 sensor and an IMX286 sensor also at 12 MP. If rumors are true, the Pro 7 will be priced at 2,799 Yuan (~$413) and 3,299 Yuan (~$486) for the 6 GB and 8 GB variant respectively. Rumor has it that Meizu has made a decision to strike a deal with Samsung so that the Pro 7 will be equipped with an Exynos 8895 processor, but the information hasn't been confirmed. This time, we've been gifted some more images and what looks like camera samples of the Pro 7, by Meizu's senior vice-president himself, Jeffery Yang.
