NEET 2017 result likely to be declared by the CBSE today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to declare the results of the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 on Tuesday on its official website, according to the information available on the government of India's exam results website. The CBSE has conducted the test in 1,921 examination centres across the Nation and also the NEET is conducted in 10 different languages.

The CBSE NEET Result 2017 comes after much delay causing severe anxiety to lakhs of students. CBSE had recently concluded the process of receiving challenge on the official answer key.

Two petitions were filed in the Madras and Gujarat High Courts demanding cancellation of NEET 2017 as medical aspirants alleged that the questions for English and regional languages were of varying difficulty. Earlier, the result was scheduled to be released on June 8.

The CBSE NEET Result 2017 declaration will pave the way for counselling and admission to 56,000 MBBS/BDS seats in the country. Hence the Supreme Court has advised the Madras High Court to declare the CBSE NEET result before 26 June. The candidates can check their results on and websites.

The NEET common entrance examination was initiated in 2013 to replace multiple entrance exams for admissions to undergraduate medical exams such as MBBS and BDS. The board had announced the result for JEE Main 2017 exam on the same website.

The result will be displayed on the screen.

This year a total of 11,38,890 students appeared for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam including 1,522 NRIs and 613 foreigners.
