Monday will be wet with numerous showers and storms especially late in the day and into Monday night. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Heavy downpours, large hail and damaging winds were expected to continue throughout the night in thunderstorms across north central and northeast IL, as well as northwest in, according to the weather service.
