Oppo A77 launched with 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM, 16MP front camera

The smartphone comes in two colour options - Gold and Rose Gold. And that is quite expected as the motto of the smartphone developers clearly emphasizes that the focus of the smartphones is going to be on the camera. A 6MP camera sits at the front with f/2.0 aperture integrated with Beauty 4.0 and Portrait Mode which company touts can give a DSLR-like blur background effect.

But OPPO is just warming up.

Oppo A77 has been launched by the company in Taiwan.

The 5.5-inch screen in the Oppo A57 will support a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 401 ppi. The internal storage is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The device is now up for pre-order in Taiwan with a NTD 10,990 price tag which is about $364. The primary camera at the rear consists of a 13MP sensor with phase detect autofocus and a dual LED flash. The handset also houses a fingerprint sensor at its front, embedded into the home button.Sadly, the OPPO A77 still runs the older Google's Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow wrapped under ColorOS 3.0 operating system and is fuelled by a 3200mAh battery. The device is now listed on company's Taiwanese website and it will go on pre-orders in Taiwan starting tomorrow, May 19. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System. The smartphone is going to hit the market with a 16-megapixel selfie camera which will be assisted by a f/1.2 aperture.

The Oppo A77 sports a metal unibody design and a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1280 pixels) display. The smartphone costs Rs 19,990 and is the successor of Oppo F3 Plus.
