Ivanka Trump to take part in presidential trip

President Donald Trump will leave Friday afternoon on his first global trip since taking office, a five-country journey to meet with some of the most important figures in the Middle East and Europe.

Trump on Friday will embark on his first foreign trip as president, stopping in Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican as he visits the centers of three major world religions.

"Among them are suggestions to compliment Trump on his election win, and compare him favorably to former President Obama; not to expect him to know your country's history or hot-button issues; and make a short presentation tailored to his attention span, and don't try to bring up a long list of issues".

The official insisted on anonymity in order to discuss planning details. She will also take part in a meeting with the Pope.

The White House will release daily guidance the day before each event, and a full readout of the First Lady's activities will be provided at the end of each day. She has held meetings on women's economic empowerment and human trafficking.

Mrs. Melania Trump is pleased to announce some of the stops on her first foreign trip as First Lady of the United States of America. Can the trip work as a restart of some kind for his administration?

This is the president's first worldwide trip, but Ivanka Trump made a brief trip to Germany in April to appear on a panel at a conference dedicated to helping women in business. She still owns the brand, which could be boosted by her high-profile stint at the White House.
