Ryan Giggs leaving Manchester United to become Nottingham Forest manager

Ryan Giggs leaving Manchester United to become Nottingham Forest manager

Manchester United could announce the departure of Ryan Giggs in the coming days amid speculation linking the Welsh legend with the Nottingham Forest manager's job, according to reports.

"After serving two years as Louis van Gaal's assistant, Giggs has chosen to jump into management himself and is now set to take charge at the City Ground", the Mirror adds.

Whether Forest will take a gamble on Giggs remains to be seen just now with the club also considering other available options - including a continental boss.

However, Mourinho's offer would have seen the United's record appearance holder have to take a demotion and Giggs has decided it is time to end his 29-year association with the club.
